Women who come to this retreat will be reminded of the faithful love & mercy of our Lord that falls afresh on us each day.

"The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.”

  • All women, ages 13+ are welcome and encouraged to invite any unbelieving girlfriends to register as well! This will be a thought-provoking and fun way to introduce them to the life that Jesus brings!

  • Cost will be $25 including lunch, $15 without. Registration will open September 3.

  • No childcare provided (If you're a mom, get dad or a grandparent to have a special day with the kids. You won't want to be distracted!)

Lucy Guerra is the wife of Nelson Guerra, the director of Great Commission Latin America, mother of Evergreen-Bloomington's, Irene Lindberg

BREAK-OUT OPTION DESCRIPTIONS

  • Acrylic Pour Painting
    Led by Jessica Coggins in the Gathering Space.
    A painting technique where multiple colors of acrylic paint are poured onto a canvas using a variety of techniques. Technique instruction will be given as part of the class. For pour painting examples, visit Mixed Media Girl. $10 extra for materials.

  • Meditative Stretching
    Led by Irene Lindberg in Room 200.
    A peace-filled time, stretching and listening to quiet music while meditating on the Lord. You might sweat a little but not too bad!

  • Fast Friends Mixer
    Led by Jeanne-Ann Davis in the North Hall.
    A mixer to help us get to know one another better or even just meet each other! You'll move to different tables and sit with new women each round and answer fun icebreaker type questions.

  • Color Confidence
    Led by our speaker, Lucy Guerra, in Room 119.
    Learn what colors look good on you when it comes to your complexion, plus some advice on what that means for your wardrobe.

  • Hope Full Packing
    Led by Terri Thompson in Room 127
    Packing & sending much-needed rice meals to children and families to our partner churches overseas in Haiti, Honduras & the Dominican Republic.
